Disaster Response Funds Needed Dear Pastor, Early reports reveal what we were all dreading to hear. In addition to the obvious loss of structures and property, many have lost their lives and that number is growing. Among those we know about already, one entire Church of God family was killed. In addition, the Church of God has suffered enormous loss of property in the very region where our first churches outside the United States were planted over 100 years ago. As we await the full impact of Dorian’s effect on the east coast of the United States, one thing is clear - the Church of God must help in every way we can. I am requesting that this Sunday, September 8, 2019, you offer your congregation the opportunity to respond to this crisis by allowing them to make a financial gift for disaster relief. Please encourage your congregation to be as generous as possible as we seek to help those who have suffered incomprehensible losses because of the storm. I am asking you to stand with Church of God World Missions and the disaster relief organizations networking with Church of God Care Ministries during this time of need. In times like these, World Mission, Operation Compassion, Men & Women of Action and other related ministries work closely together to provide needed assistance. Your financial help will make the difference. You may forward your gifts to World Missions or the International Offices, noted for “Disaster Assistance,” or use one of the giving portals below.
